Arkansas native and American Idol standout Makiyah Mustiful will take the stage at the 2026 Mid-South Music Festival. Mustiful is scheduled to perform on the Southwest Auto Collection Stage on Saturday, October 17, at 5:00 p.m.

Mustiful captured national attention during Season 24 of American Idol, where her soulful vocals and commanding stage presence earned her a spot in the competition’s Top 20. Raised singing in church, she brings deep gospel influences to her performances, blending passion, authenticity, and powerful vocal talent into every song.

“Makiyah represented Arkansas with pride during her run on American Idol, and we’re so excited to welcome her to the 2026 Mid-South Music Festival lineup,” said Festival Coordinator Jenna Friday. “Her voice is truly exceptional, and we know festival-goers will enjoy the opportunity to experience her talent live in downtown Arkadelphia.”

The 2026 Mid-South Music Festival will be held October 16-17 in historic downtown Arkadelphia. The free, family-friendly event features live entertainment, food trucks, local artisans, children’s activities, and community celebrations throughout the weekend.
