After careful consideration and consultation with meteorologists at the National Weather Service, festival coordinators have decided to move forward with Day 2 of the Mid-South Music Festival outdoors in the Town Square lot as originally planned.

In the event of severe weather, designated safe zones have been identified at Town Hall and the former Save-U-More building for the safety of attendees.

While weather conditions may cause delays or changes to parts of the schedule, the forecast looks favorable for this evening’s performances — specifically Southern Bancorp headliner Graham Barham, set to take the stage at 8:30 p.m. in the Town Square lot.

Out of an abundance of caution, the Makers’ Market will close at 2:00 p.m. to help protect the work of arts and crafts vendors from potential weather damage.

Free ponchos will be available on-site while supplies last.

As of now, no acts have been officially canceled, and the festival remains on schedule.
